GROOMING

Find a groomer you trust and works well with your dog.  Grooming is a big deal for your dog and requires a calm, understanding and patient groomer.

Dogsville dogs are free to roam and socialize with each other before and after grooming.  This allows your dog to better know us and allows us to make grooming more of a fun, full and rounded experience.  Your dog recognizes leaders immediately, allowing him to know he is safe and that there is order.

Grooming is an art and we all have our own style.  Here’s what to assess in a groomer:

·         How do they manage your dog and his behavior?

·         Are they safe and understanding of your dogs needs?

·         What is the quality of the final product of the grooming service?

Dogsville performs everyday practical grooms for your pet’s health and comfort.  We will groom to your request, but will always be on your dog’s side and will inform you of any concerns regarding your dog.  Remember your dog has a lifetime of grooming ahead so must be comfortable with the process!

Tips for you:  Keep your dog’s hair at a consistent length year round as this better allows him to regulate his temperature.  Brush and comb your dog regularly to exfoliate his skin.  This also brings blood to the surface of the skin to help keep him healthy.

After grooming, we will phone when your dog is ready to go home.  Dogs will be groomed in order, first by age, health and stress level, all others next.  Time limits can be stressful for your groomer so please allow us to prioritize pet care – there has to be a first and a last!

We will take exceptional care of your pet while with us, so please allow us to determine the time your pet will be groomed.  We will call you as soon as we have finished caring for your pet!.

Grooming is an important part of your pet’s health.  He lives with your decisions, so make sure they are good ones. He is counting on YOU!
